We’re waiting for you
We’re waiting for you is a series of three photos. It’s a continuous drive-by shooting series from a moving train. It is dedicated to the artist Camille Claudel who spent the last 30 years of her life in a mental institution even though she likely shouldn’t have been there.
that kind of day
Out doing drive-by shooting on a rainy day recently. Four elements in one photo that I like to capture! Blur, umbrella, raindrops and street photography! It’s the time of year for rain. – that kind of day, 25 May 2017. https://www.leannestaples.com/blog/2017/5/28/that-kind-of-day
Shooting in the rain
Raining in Harlem – Went out shooting in the rain today! Still uploading photos! I do love photographing raindrops and drive-by shooting at the same time. So many elements of chance in plan. No opportunity to do a shot again. And it isn’t always easy to get a digital camera to behave when it comes to focusing. To get the raindrops in focus has been something I have had to work hard to achieve. When it works, it works! So I had a fun day shooting. 2 January 2017, New York City. www.leannestaples.com
wishful thinking
I’m not fond of the cold. But that rarely keeps me from going out shooting. Just going through photos from earlier this year! Looking at the beautiful colors of a summer rain and wishful thinking! www.leannestaples.com
